Love stopping by Manna for their lunch specials when I make a trip out to SF!
I came around 2 pm and the tables inside were all full so opted to sit outside. It's a quieter neighborhood so I actually really enjoyed the peace and quiet.
I got the dolsot bibimbap and my friend got the spicy pork. Quality food. Super nice servers. Overall good time. The banchans were all delicious as well. The bibimbap is always enough to last two meals for me. As someone who is weak to spiciness, I didn't find the pork or the gochujang sauce to be too spicy. They were both more sweet than spicy.

Manna has been my go to Korean comfort food restaurant for the longest time. I've been coming here since I was in high school and the quality has remained the same. It's quite a small restaurant so sometimes during peak hours there can be a wait to be seated. Similarly, sometimes parking can be rough in this area. I always get the kalbi, beef tofu soup, and hot stone bibimbap. The seafood pancake is also a must try. Other dishes we ordered were the gal bi tang and duk bok ki. It also comes with an assortment of bon chons and the staff is glad to refill it if you ask.

Hands down one of my favorite Korean restaurants in the city. Manna serves a wide variety of Korean dishes from tofu stews, chicken wings, kimchi fried rice, to even naengmyeon!
*KALBI* -- $29.99 (weekend price)
I was craving Kalbi (short rib) and I was legitimately so shocked at how delicious it was. Each piece was so tender and well marinated, with a sweet and savory flavor and a slight charred bbq taste. Honestly on par with the kalbi I've had in LA ktown.
*KIMCHI JIGGAE* -- $16.99 (weekend price)
The Kimchi Jiggae also really shocked me, because it had a smoky depth to complement the spicy tangy flavors. There was a decent amount of pork slices, kimchi and tofu in the stew too.
*BANCHAN*
Loved the Banchan (side dishes) variety too: garlicky potatoes, broccoli, bean sprouts, fish cake, and kimchi.
*SERVICE*
Service was quick and to the point, it's a small establishment so it's easy to get a sever's attention!
*PRICES + LUNCH MENU*
Definitely on the pricey side compared to Korean food in LA, but I'm also not surprised considering SF doesn't have too many Korean restaurants. FYI weekend prices are inflated, whereas there's a cheaper weekday lunch menu!
*SIDE NOTE*
Docking 1 star because there were a ton of flies flying around, likely because the door was propped open. Not a deal breaker for me but I would prefer to enjoy my meal without swatting flies away haha.

My second visit and came early around 5:30 pm to avoid the long wait. It was nice out so I took one of the outside seating area. Service were nice and quick. I love their complimentary ban chan (small side dishes) and they gave me a refill when I ask for for some. The kimchi fried rice were very simple but delicious -although a little tad oily and sweet overall. The beef rib soup was great especially for a cooler day and is very refreshing. Overall I would still come back if I'm in the area. I like the staff being attentive and kind.

Manna is a wonderful place to grab Korean food in inner sunset! I came here for Sunday lunch with a couple of my friends. We got the galbi tang, kimchi fried rice and the kimchi chigae. The galbi gang and kimchi fried rice were super yummy! Although the kimchi fried rice was a bit oily - it had a lot of good flavor. My friend did not like the kimchi chigae. It had a very overpowering sour taste.
The inside it self is pretty small - not that many seats but it's very cozy! The service was pretty decent. I also enjoyed their banchan.

Manna is my go to when I'm craving Korean food! I always get their Beef Tofu Soup, Kimchi Fried Rice (which is a must!), Beef Bulgogi, and Kimchi Pancake. Their food is flavorful and they have great portion sizes that are reasonable for their prices. I also love that they provide banchans with each meal when I get to-go. I must say their kimchi and fish cake banchans are definitely one of my favorites compared to other Korean restaurants I have tried. Manna is always a hit!

The service was great, love the area, no issues there. I came with 3 other friends and the food was either a hit or a miss. Some were amazing, some was ehh, and lacked flavor. There are other great Korean spots I would go to instead, but would also happily eat here again.

Had dinner here with a friend last night and we shared the dol-sot bibimbap (rice with beef and assorted veggies with a fried egg on top, cooked in a stoneware pot - $17.99) and the kimchi chige (a spicy soup with kimchi, pork, and tofu-$16.99). Both were delicious. I asked that the rice in the dol-sot bibimbap be extra crunchy and it was! The crunchy crust at the bottom of the pot was fantastic; brought back so many childhood memories of the crunchy rice we ate at the end of a meal! The red sauce they brought for the bibimbap complemented the dish so well; it added a bit of spice and a little sweetness that surprised me. I thought it would be just a hot sauce, but it wasn't!
The kimchi chige was really good, too. You have to watch out when you take that first mouthful, though! The spice and heat surprised me so that I almost had to cough! But, stay with it ... the flavors meld together and are delicious!
Of course, I can't leave off all the wonderful banchan they always bring out at the start of a meal. There are still five different items; can't remember how many they used to have, but five is a good number. There was the fantastic fish cake, broccoli, beansprouts, julienned potatoes, and kimchi... all wonderful.
Of course, I'm sure I'll be back again!

One of my favorite Korean restaurants! Food here is pretty solid which keeps me coming back for more.
My absolute favorite dishes are their Kanpoongki (sweet and spicy chicken wings) and seafood pancake! We also ordered the dol-sot bibimbap, seafood tofu soup, and tofu soup which were delicious.
It's a small dining area with limited seats so I suggest to come at opening or might be a bit of wait if they get busy, especially weekend/nights. Check this place out, great food and friendly service!
